Last week, we had the privilege and pleasure of joining some great startups – from Box.net to Turntable.fm to fellow TC Disrupter Cake Health – at the Innovation Gallery during Web 2.0 Summit. The Innovation Gallery, a first for Web 2.0, provides an opportunity for young, exciting companies to showcase their new technologies to the who’s who in technology, business and media. And boy, did we.
Diverse companies ranging from Microsoft to Disney to Toys”R”Us stopped by to hear about how we’re transforming the way businesses perceive online and offline activity by combining a businesses’ existing security camera network with a simple download of Prism software. 30-second iPad demos turned into 10-minute conversations around the product, which led to brainstorming sessions about how Prism technology could be applied to all types of businesses. Attendees couldn’t get enough. We also took away some pointers ourselves, especially around new ideas and applications across and within industries, which we’re excited to put into practice!
And, what a better way to show off our technology than to film the event itself? With the beautiful Palace Hotel in San Francisco acting as a perfect backdrop, we showcased the product by filming the event through the heat map view, revealing activity and traffic trends throughout the week. Check out the video here for a preview of what’s to come for us in the next few months!

Special thanks to John Battelle and the rest of the Web 2.0 Summit staff for extending this great opportunity to Prism Skylabs!
